Overview

This feature enables moderators to review and approve questions and replies before they are visible to the public. A new Moderation tab is added to the Q&A section, allowing moderators to manage all pending approvals efficiently.


Activating Moderation

To enable moderation for a Q&A channel:

1. Navigate to the Moderation settings.

2. Toggle on the following options:

  • Allow moderation of questions
  • Allow moderation of replies

3. Assign a moderator and link the Q&A to the appropriate live page.

4. Save your changes.


How it works

User Perspective:

When a user submits a question on the designated live page, it will not appear publicly until reviewed.


Moderator Perspective:

Moderators will see incoming questions and replies in the Pending tab with the option to:

  • Approve – The content goes live and moves to the Approved tab.
  • Reject – The content remains hidden from the public and moves to the Rejected tab.


Moderators can also edit questions and replies and can respond directly. To interact with the chat as an attendee, simply toggle from Moderator View to Attendee View.
