The Gevme mobile app provides real-time notifications to keep you updated about your events. Here’s how you can access and manage notifications effectively.


Home Screen Notifications

After logging into the Gevme mobile app, you will find a notification button located in the top-right corner of the home screen. Tap on this button to view all notifications related to the events you’re registered for.


Event Home Screen Notifications

On the Event Home screen, where mini experiences are listed, there is another notification button at the top. This button displays notifications that are specific to the event you are currently viewing.



Unread Notifications Indicator

A red dot on the notification bell icon signifies that you have unread notifications. Ensure to check these notifications to stay updated.



Sending Notifications to the Gevme Mobile App

To trigger a notification that reaches users on the mobile app, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Gevme omnichannel backend platform.
  2. Navigate to the “Announcements” page under the “Engagement” section.

     
  3. Fill in the notification details, including the message and audience.
  4. Pay special attention to the setting “Which platform should this notification be sent to?”
    By default, it is set to “Page.” Change it to “Mobile” or “Page and Mobile” to ensure the notification reaches the mobile app.

     


By following these steps, you can ensure timely updates and engagement with attendees via the Gevme mobile app.
