Welcome to the latest Gevme release! We've been hard at work making sure you have the best event experience possible. Here are the new features and bug fixes we've deployed.
Email notification for sponsors
Now, when you add a sponsor user into the system, they will automatically receive an email notification informing them of their access. This new feature is designed to make it easier and faster to get your sponsors set up quickly. Plus, with automated email notifications, you can be sure that your sponsors are always in the loop. We hope this feature helps make your experience smoother and more efficient.
Self-service onsite configuration
Event organizers can now configure their onsite checkin & checkout directly from Gevme Omnichannel. This self service module packs a punch, it lets you configure the any kind of checkin mode, QR scanning, Facial recognition etc. Read more about Gevme's Onsite here.
Search for speakers
Now, attendees can easily find the speaker in your event website. You can include a search bar for speakers while configuring the website and your attendees will be able to use it. We hope you find this new feature helpful. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or feedback about it.
Additional info in leads scanning
This will help sponsors stay connected with their guests and keep track of who has visited their booth. With this feature, sponsors can now quickly and easily capture all the necessary information from each lead and store it in one place. All scanned data is securely stored in the system, so sponsors don't have to worry about their information being compromised. This new feature makes it easier for sponsors to capture leads and get more out of their events. We hope you enjoy this
Bug Fixes & Improvements
- We've made some behind-the-scenes changes to the Chime SDK (Gevme Meet) to ensure a better experience for our users. We've fixed an issue that was causing calls to drop unexpectedly and improved the overall stability of the platform.
- We've now made it easier to customise the Speaker and Sponsor blocks on your website. We've segregated the elements for these blocks so that you can easily identify which elements need to be customised via CSS. This way, you can make sure that your website looks exactly the way you want it to. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
- Squashed a bug in our Attendee module! Now, when importing multiple records, they'll no longer be added more than once. This ensures that your data is accurate and up-to-date, avoiding any unnecessary confusion or mistakes.
- We've fixed an issue where users were having trouble with their settings getting changed when they tried to draft notifications. This was a frustrating experience and we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. We've now updated the system so that your settings will remain the same no matter how many times you draft or edit a notification. You can now rest assured that your settings won't be changed unexpectedly.
