Anatomy of the LiveBar

LiveBar Features

1. Attendee Profile is where the attendee can see the details of their profile and also access the Sign Out button to check out of the event.

2. Notifications is the centralised place where all the notifications sent to the attendee are consolidated. This is where they can access the history of all notifications sent to them, in case there are any notifications that they missed or if there is any notification they want to get back to.

3. Chat is where the participants on the same livepage can chat publicly among themselves. Think of it as the public group chat of a livepage.

4. Participants contain the list of Registrants of the event. Depending on the Event Owner/Organiser set up, the list may contain only Online participants only or Both - Online and Offline Participants.

5. Schedule contains a list of meeting invites shared, including all details related to meeting requests that were received, sent, or canceled.

6. Recommendations is an AI-powered matchmaking engine to connect your participants - attendees, speakers, sponsors/exhibitors and to propose conference sessions of their interests.

7. Your Messages are 1-to-1 private messages that attendees send to each other.

8. Polls component in the LiveBar contains a repository of all the polls that have been sent to the attendee on that particular livepage. Polls also appear in a popup notification style when sent to the attendee, so the Polls feature in the LiveBar is really a place for them to access polls they might have missed, see the results of past polls, or see polls that they have responded to again.

9. My Bookmarks contain all the items that the attendee has bookmarked. Items that can be bookmarked are:

  • Other Attendees
  • Sponsors/Exhibitors
  • Sessions
  • Resources: PDF, Images, Links

10. Q & A is for attendees to raise questions, and the moderator(s) can select relevant questions to be addressed by the panels and speakers.

The behaviour of the LiveBar Panel

The LiveBar Panel can behave in two ways when it is expanded:

  • It can either push the content of the livepage
  • Or it can overlap the content of the livepage and appear on top of it

Advanced > CSS Code and Custom Apps

This allows you to customise the look and feel of the livebar by inserting custom CSS. To learn more about how to customise the CSS, read the documentation: Custom CSS.

Custom Apps is an additional Live Bar feature that appears alongside the existing options.

It allows organizers to highlight specific content, tools, or external links directly within the app for quick and easy access. This feature can be configured based on event requirements.
