A single web site could contain many types of content or information

A single web site could contain many types of content or information, such as informational/basic pages, speakers, sponsors, partners, agenda, sliding banners, news items, blog posts, photo gallery, video gallery etc.

By using these content types, users can then input their original content such as the home page, about us page, venue page of the website, speakers information, sessions details for the agenda, supporting partners and sponsors etc.

These content types are basically composed of different set of fields for a particular data type and in order to create content, users just have to fill in the respective fields. For example, the People content type would include the fields such as:

  • Title
  • Company
  • Job Title
  • Profile Image
  • Bio

As default, below content types are readily available for websites which are more focused on Events management and technology.

And also when we enable some of the modules provided in our Website Builder, the new content type will be created as well. For example, when you enable “News” module, the “News” content type will be created automatically and we can then add in the content for that.

Basic Page

A page is a simple method for creating and displaying static content that rarely changes, such as "About Us", "Contact" section of a website. This content type includes just one "Title" field which is going to be display as the title of the page that you are creating.

Sessions are the individual items that are going to be included for the event's agenda. This content type includes fields such as the title of the session, start and end date time, the venue, the description of the session, speakers, moderators etc.

  • Title
  • Venue
  • Date
  • Description
  • Speakers
  • Tags

People refers to the Speakers, Moderators, Panelist etc who are taking part in the whole event and also featuring under certain sessions. The fields included in this content type are:

  • Full Name
  • Profile Picture
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Job Title
  • Company Name
  • Bio
  • Categories
  • Interests
  • Email
  • Contact No
  • Social Media

Sliding Banner

These are rich medias which includes images with texts and links used in Home Page where users can promote certain pages in their website or any external pages. If there is only one image or content, it would act as a static banner but if there are more than one, it will automatically become the sliding banners. Included fields are:

  • Title
  • Image
  • Event Venue
  • Event Date
  • CTA Button 1 (title, url)
  • CTA Button 2 (title, url)
  • Description

Partner refers to Sponsors and any types of Partners such as Supporting Partner, Official Partner etc who are basically supporting the event. Included fields are:

  • Name
  • Logo
  • Website
  • Category
  • Description

Blocks or Widgets are used as tools for the enhancement of the website. Often they are also utilized as ’mediums’ that pulls ‘contents’ together to display them in a aggregated manner.

For example, at our home page we can have different blocks such as Sliding Banners Block, Agenda Block, Speakers Block, Sponsors Block, Footer Block and they can then be placed on any regions or sections in our web page as below.
